At the centre of quietness
Heading from Bologna towards the Apennines and strolling those few necessary kilometres to find green outer space and fragrant air, one can come to pass groups of ancient colonic houses.
One of these, a complex of six buildings from the 18th century, has been transformed in a multifunctional centre with hotel, conference centre and restaurant.
It is equipped of all comfort and services: rooms with audio and lights systems, reception and greeting for hosts, logistic management, technological services, private parking, rooms that have just been restructured, restaurant with typical emilian cusine and fish.
More than two hundred year of Ca’ Vecchia
At the feet of first Apennine hills, in a magnificent park with secular trees, one can find the multifunctional
centre "Ca’' Vecchia".
The complex, constructed in 1770, consist of: a patronal house composed of three dining rooms,
the largest one with a fireplace, the others two with a smaller fireplace, nine rooms, a place for the cart, a well located
in the inner part of the building and others three rooms used as service rooms. It also included a house for the farmer,
an oratory (that then it was transformed in a laboratory for producing cheese and a furnace for bread), a barn with annexed
stable (today it is the restaurant) and a second barn behind the patronal house, today it is the hotel.
The former study centre is today a modern multifunctional complex managed by a company, with conference centre, restaurant and hotel, immersed in a secular park of incomparable beauty, that continues to sparkle beyond the two hundred years of history, that for some lazy fir is nothing more than a yawn.
